We can find many companies that take their names from ancient mythology. Trojan, Argus, Amazon and Ajax are just a few. As far as the god Hephaestus is concerned there are a few major companies named for him and some named for the Roman name of the same god, Vulcan. Hephaestus Consulting Inc. is located in Pennsylvania. It is named after the lame god Hephaestus, who was the god of fire. He is also widely recognized as the...

Hephaestus is not only the fire god, but he is also a great maker of things or a craftsman. So, any store or company that deals in fire or crafts may want to use the name in some form. A little search will offer a few companies that actually follow along this path in their name. Here are a few:
1. Hephaestus Palm Spring is a jewelry company. Presumable they make excellent crafts in terms of Jewelry.
2. There is also a company called Hephaestus...

Most of the modern-day names and terms associated with Hephaestus are related to his Roman counterpart--Vulcan. Here are several examples:
Vulcan Equipment--a company which specializes in restaurant items such as ranges and other "heating" kitchen elements. Because of the connection to fire and heat, the company's name works well for the god.
Vulcan Materials--a company which offers stone and construction materials; again, this connects...

I'm assuming you're talking about the place in Fiji that comes up on Google...
It doesn't say that it is named after Poseidon, but it surely must be. The way you can tell that is that A) it's an ocean thing and he's god of the ocean (which is why they'd name it that -- the name makes people think of the ocean) and B) their logo is a trident which is one of his symbols.
As for other stuff named after Greek gods, the United States' program for...

Hermes is the Greek messenger god. He is also the god of the road and of travelers. The Romans adopted their version of him known as Mercury, who is the patron of commerce(business). In the early 1900's FTD adopted the classic figure of Mercury as its official logo most likely because he stands for a lot:"god" of business, road, and the messenger god.
hope this helps

Acting as the messenger of the Gods, Hermes possesses a very unique role. He has the duty of delivering messages with speed and grace within the pantheon of the Gods and between the immortals and the mortals. His messenger capacity implies a quick grace to it, hence the winged sandals, and the general idea would be that once a message is commissioned to Hermes to deliver, it would be brought forth quickly and without deviation. This...

In the beggining, Zeus' grandma; Mother Earth did create the Earth, but, so her kingdom can rest on it.
Mother Earth and her self made a baby, then came along her son, he over-ruled her and mated with her daughter.
They mated and their son, Kronos, over-powed them. His siblings became the titans.

You question is rather vague, but here is the basic outlines of the creation myths of the Greeks.
1. Gaia and Uranos (earth and sky) got together and they created the Titans, Cyclopses, and the Hecatoncheires.
2. One of the lead Titans was named Cronos.
3. Cronos in collaboration with Gaia lay in ambush against Uranos for his misdeeds. In fact, Cronos castrates him.
4. However, according to prophecies, a son of Cronos is supposed to...

According to Greek mythology, the world was created out of nothingness -- out of chaos.
The goddess Eurynome then had a child, Eros, the god of love with either a giant serpent or with the north wind (depending on which legend you look at). From love, came light and day and then Gaia, the earth, appeared. (Some myths have Gaia being made from one half of the egg that Eros emerged from).
Most Greek myths have Prometheus making people. He...
