Opera by RUGGERO LEONCAVALLO, 1900, first produced in Milan. A Paris café songstress becomes embroiled in an affair with a married man. Abandoned by him, she finds happiness with her vaudeville partner. Although less successful than the composer's PAGLIACCI, the opera enjoys occasional performances.
