Unfinished opera by WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, 1779, to a LIBRETTO resembling that of The Abduction from the Seraglio. A heroic youth rescues his chosen bride from a sultan's harem. It was not performed until 1866, in Frankfurt, in an arrangement done by various sources.
