Sixteen pieces in two sets for string quartet, 1899. These were composed by various Russian composers, including ALEXANDER BORODIN, NIKOLAI RIMSKY-KORSAKOV, ALEXANDER GLAZUNOV, and ANATOLI LIADOV, in honor of their weekly meetings on Fridays (Vendredis) held at the house of the publisher Mitrofan Belaiev in St. Petersburg in the 1880s and 1890s.
