Variety Show

Theatrical entertainment that includes all kinds of popular presentations, from singing and dancing to magician acts, animal tricks, and comic skits. The variety show is the successor to VAUDEVILLE, in that it became most popular on radio and television after live theatrical vaudeville had all but disappeared.
