Variations for Orchestra

Work by ARNOLD SCHOENBERG, 1928, op.31, written in a consciously ordained method of composition with 12 TONES, first performed in Berlin. In this work Schoenberg utilizes the familiar sequence of tones B-A-C-H (B♭, A, C, B♮), which is woven into the basic 12tone subject.
