Universe Symphony

An unfinished project of CHARLES IVES for which he made sketches from 1911 to 1918. The work was intended (in his words) to be a "contemplation in tones of the mysterious creation of the earth and firmament, the evolution of all life in nature, in humanity, to the Divine." At least two attempts at completion have been made and performed.
