Charlie Brown engages in all kinds of childhood adventures in the company of Snoopy (beagle and World War I flying ace), Linus (blanket-bearing genius), Lucy (perpetual crank and book reviewer), Patty (mystery woman), and Schroeder (Beethoven-worshiping toy pianist). Includes the title song, Faithful Friends Always Near Me, Queen Lucy, My Blanket and Me, and Book Report.

The show was revived on Broadway in 1999.
