Pal Joey

Musical by RICHARD RODGERS and LORENZ HART, 1940. Pal Joey is a sleazy character employed as a dancer in a Chicago nightclub, but he is liked by the ladies. One of them, an affluent matron, sets him up in an apartment, and he willingly abandons his loving girlfriend for a life of luxury. Eventually, both women give him up and he is left alone and penniless. Includes Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered.
