Narrator

A speaking part in Baroque ORATORIOS, corresponding to the Italian testo, designed to promote the continuity of the plot.

In the 20th century, the narrator plays an important part in IGOR STRAVINSKY'S OEDIPUS REX and HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT, and, in a lighter vein, SERGEI PROKOFIEV'S PETER AND THE WOLF.
