Ivanhoe

Grand opera by ARTHUR SULLIVAN, 1891, first produced in London after he separated from his long-time collaborator w. s. GILBERT. Based on the novel by Walter Scott, the opera failed with the public. It was Sullivan's only attempt at a serious opera.
