Haffner Symphony

Symphony No. 35 by WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, 1782 (K.385). Haffner strikes twice. The key is D major, the same as is used for the Haffner Serenade. This work was jotted down by Mozart in a couple of weeks, eight years after the composition of the Serenade. Haffner, the Bürgomaster of Salzburg, endeared himself to Mozart by his many kindnesses to him.
