Haffner Serenade

A work by WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, 1776 (K.250). This is a light and charming piece in D major written for the wedding of the daughter of the Bürgomaster of Salzburg named Haffner. (Mozart himself was her secret admirer.) Thus was immortality acquired by the modest Haffner family.

The Serenade has eight movements, and lasts longer than some of Mozart's full-fledged symphonies.
