A cycle of three piano pieces by MAURICE RAVEL, 1909, entitled Ondine, Le Gibet, and Scarbo, first performed in Paris. These pieces are fine examples of IMPRESSIONISTIC writing, portraying a mermaid, a gallows, and a playful sprite, respectively.
