F-Sharp Major

A tonality that has six sharps in its key signature. It rarely appears as the principal key of a large work for orchestra, chorus, or piano. But curiously, it is favored by children of a tender age on account of its digitally convenient PENTATONIC disposition on the black keys of the piano.

The enharmonic tonality of G♭ major, with six flats in its key signature, enjoys the favor of ROMANTIC composers almost as much as its sharp alter ego.
