Camelot
Musical by ALAN JAY LERNER and Frederick Loewe, 1960. The plot is derived from the legend of King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, and her youthful lover Sir Lancelot. The play's success in the early years of the Kennedy administration led to comparisons of the Kennedys with the mythical court of King Arthur. Includes the title song, The Lusty Month of May, If Ever I Would Leave You, How to Handle a Woman, and What Do the Simple Folk Do?
