Scene i: As with most of Shakespeare's plays, Act II of A Midsummer Night's Dream brings further plot complications, this time in the woods outside of Athens (where Hermia and Lysander and the mechanicals are scheduled to meet). Scene 1 portrays the problems of the fairy world ruled by Titania and Oberon.
