Michael Anthony (Cyclopedia of World Authors)
Michael Anthony was born in 1932 in a remote, rural area of southern Trinidad called Mayaro. Later, he went to school in the second largest town in Trinidad, San Fernando, before working in an iron foundry at Pointe à Pierre. In the 1950’s, Great Britain called on members of its former colonies to provide cheap labor in the mother country, and Anthony arrived there on December 26, 1954.
