Question:
When a number cube is rolled, what are the odds that a number with no curved lines will be face up?
its a math question. please help me answer this.

This is a basic probability question that can be solved by using any calculator's cNr key. You select the number of possible desired outcomes (in which a number with no curved lines comes up) and enter that number, press the cNr key (sometimes you must press the shift or second key to access it) and then you enter the total number of possible outcomes (rolls of the cube)and hit enter.

If our choices are numbers 1-6, the only numbers with no curved lines would be 1 and 4, so that's 2 out of 6 possibilities, or 1/3... or a 33.3% chance.

it depends on your cube if you cube has a straight line for one (l) then it would be 2/6 or 1/3
if it has one written like this 1 then it would only be 1/6
