    F = ma

    v = a * t

    x = 1/2 a*t^2

    (note these equations are only valid for a starting velocity of 0)

    We don't know the time the bullet is in the barrel, but we know that t = v/a.

    now x = 1/2 a*(v/a)^2 = 1/2 v^2/a or,

    a = 1/2 v^2/x = 1/2 (322 m/s)^2/0.75 m =  69 km/s^2

    Now, F = ma = 4.4 g * 69 km/s^2 = 304 g km/s^2

    Note that g km/s^2 = kg m/s^2 = 1 Newton, so

    F = 304 N
