Question:

In a line of numbers, (64, 76, 46, 88, 88, 43, 99, 50, 55) does the mode change if a second 76 is added to the line?

    yes, the mode is the number listed the most. If you add a second 76 you will have two modes-both 76 and 88.

    Mode is the  that number which occurs most frequent.

    Number  frequency

    43             1

    46             1

    50             1

    55             1

    64             1

    76             1

    88 2 The mode is 88 with highest frequecy.

    99             1

    If we add 76,  there would be two modes .76  and 88 both are equaly highest in frequency. So both 76 and 88 are modes.So it is a bimoded situation.
