    Ever since his parents died the train wreck, Maniac has been running and has never had a permanent address.  Once he stays at the Beale's house he realizes that their house is going to be his home.  It's finally a place where he can call home.  So he stares at the address, memorizes, and realizes that the number is his new and permanent home.
