Since Macbeth isn't completely alone in Act 5, he must have influence over at least some of his men. In scene 2 of the last act, Caithness tells Menteith that there are some still rallying around Macbeth ("Great Dunsinane, he strongly fortifies...". He couldn't "strongly" fortify if he didn't have numbers (of soldiers). There are no characters that Macbeth specifically influences unless perhaps Seyton, Macbeth's personal assistant, who stays until the end. As far as the murderers are concerned, Macbeth was able to influence them because he told them, in Act 3, that Banquo was the one at fault for their misfortunes and the one who has held them down. He influences them to kill for him but he does so by lying to them.
