A better place to look for such quotes would be in Acts I and II, when Macbeth learns of the witches's prophecies and plans the execution of Duncan (and then Banquo and his son Fleance). Act III, as the turning point of the play, shows how Macbeth's fortunes start to shift as he descends into what is a type of madness and begins killing off anyone he perceives as an enemy or obstacle to continued reign.
