After the coronation banquet is abandoned and all the guests depart, Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth--"It will have blood:they say blood will have blood". Banquo's ghost appeared twice in the banquet scene and frightened Macbeth by shaking his 'gory locks' at him. Left with Lady Macbeth in the banquet hall, Macbeth looks rather worried about his future. No murder can be kept hidden for a long time; the blood of the victim being shed leads to the shedding of blood of the perpetrator. Macbeth is worried about the revenge, and he knows that his blood will also be shed.
