In Act 2 of "Macbeth," how does Lady Macbeth advise her husband when he finds himself unable to say "amen"?

    She tells him "Consider it not so deeply."  She again tells him that "These deeds must not be thought After these ways; so, it will make us mad."

    She does not want to go back and think about how bad their actions are.  Her ambition is too strong, and the crown is in sight.  She does not want him going mad over his guilt.  This is ironic, since it is Lady Macbeth who cannot live with her guilt throughout the rest of the play.  Macbeth obviously follows her advice, because he never shows his guilt again.
