[5.5.9-15] Why is Macbeth not horrified by the shrieks of women with the castle? What does this say about the state of his soul?

What is the image of "supping full" with horrors? How does this connect to the feast scene 3.4?

MacBeth is not horrified by the shrieks of the women in the castle because at this point in the play is soul is festering, diseased, and empty. The women wail because Lady MacBeth has just committed suicide and is in a twisted pile beneath a high castle window. MacBeth is not horrified because he has "supped full of horrors" and nothing can surprise him anymore. This leads directly into his "tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow" soliloquy where his nihilism and philosophical bankruptcy are given voice.
