Greenway, the home of crime novelist Agatha Christie, located on the banks of the River Dart in Devon, England, is to be opened to the general public.
Christie purchased Greenway in 1938 and the house clearly featured in two of the author's novels: Dead Man's Folly and Five Little Pigs.
In 2000 the property was handed over to the National Trust by Christie's daughter Rosalind Hicks and two years later visitors to the house were able to view both the gardens and boathouse, whilst Hicks remained in residence...
