Posted by renelane on Friday November 9, 2007 at 10:14 AMRalph realizes that Jack has more appealing leadership qualities, yet he also realizes that Jack's lust for hunting is a problem. He finds his inattention to the details for getting rescued and safety inexcusable.
Ralph can see Jack's gradual lust for savagery increase, and knows this will not bode well for the group.

Posted by luannw on Friday November 9, 2007 at 10:15 AMThere isn't one attitude that Ralph has throughout the story, except perhaps a dislike that goes from mild to extreme. More accurately though, Ralph goes from an attitude of dismissal when he first meets Jack to one of great fear by the end of the story when Jack and his crew have become savage.
