    In chapter two, the group of boys convenes for the second time and Jack, Ralph, and Simon inform the group about their discovery: there are wild pigs on the island. This discovery will later begin to fracture the group when disagreements arise about what is more important, hunting for pigs or keeping the signal fire going.
