What did Ralph mean by this?

In chapter 5, Ralph said "Fat lot of good we are, 3 blind mice. I'll give up." what did he mean by there' blind mice part?

    Ha, found it.

    I think it means that Piggy, Ralph and Simon are the only ones that have no gone "blind" from madness. Since else is going out of control. Ralph is saying that they are the only sensible people left.
