Expository prose is simply writing that is meant to explain something to the reader. The goal is to use writing that is clear and uncluttered by flowery language and description. It should avoid emotional appeal and emotional language.
I don't think you need a link to any particular page on the internet...just look around you! A newspaper article is expository because it is trying to relate information to you. Your English or History textbook is a good example...this is writing that is meant to provide you with well organized facts.
Above all, expository writing has to be clear and to the point. that doesn't mean it necessarily has no style, but its goal is to inform rather than entertain (though there is a type of writing called "creative nonfiction" which skirts that line).
A lot of the answers you find here on eNotes are expository. They are meant to answer a question, show the relationship between things, explore a sequence of events, or examine cause and effect.
