I am looking for the phrase "intricably entwined" or "intricately entwined."
I need corrected wordage and a reference if possible.

I am not really certain of what your question is, however, the correct wording of this phrase is "inextricably entwined." The word inextricably means not able to undo or not able to untangle or untie. The word entwined means joined or weaved together. Something that is "inextricably entwined" is something that can not be separated.
An example of the usage of this phrase might be something like, war and death are inextricably entwined. Another usage could be, tobacco and cancer are inextricably entwined. Ann Kent, a famous author of young adult literature was quoted as remarking,
"Grief and greed are as inextricably entwined as love and marriage should be."
There are hundreds of references using this term on E-Notes. The phrase is used a great deal in editorial and critical analysis. Another very common phrase is "life and death are inextricably entwined."
