The best way to find an answer to this question is to have a look at the proverbs of Poor Richard's Almanac, written by Franklin himself. There you will find a lot of quotes concerning these subjects and many others. Some sayings which you have probably already heard :

Early to bed, early to rise          makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

In the grave there will be sleeping enough.

Lost time is never found again.

Experience keeps a dear school [i.e. runs an expensive school], but fools will learn in no other, and scarce in that.
