ive read the story and already written my paper about what the lesson is. I just havent made a thesis statement for it yet. i feel like miss moore is trying to teach the children that there is more to life then what their ghetto neighborhood has to offer. She hopes the children will benefitfrom this trip by showing them the uppercity life and letting them know they too can have this ind of life someday if they put their minds to it
