In the late 60s, three decades before I had any significant interest in architecture, Lamberton Hall (of 1904) was on of my favorites at Lehigh University. In the late 90s, I learned it was designed by the famous Philadelphia firm of Furness & Evans - although likely at a time when Frank Furness was not very active. It doen'st look nearly brutish enough to show much of the hand of Furness.
