Posted by bmadnick on Tuesday March 4, 2008 at 12:42 PMBrutus is at his camp in Greece, and when Cassius arrives, the two argue. They then get down to their battle plans, and Brutus wins the argument over what they should do: stay where they are or go to Philippi. Cassius leaves, and then Brutus tries to sleep. Just as he's nodding off, he sees Caesar's ghost, who identifies himself as the evil spirit of Brutus. You really don't know whether this truly is Caesar's ghost, whether it's Brutus' guilty conscience over killing Caesar, or whether it really is Brutus' evil spirit. Whatever the ghost is can only mean bad things for Brutus in the battle coming up at Philippi.
