Well basically the power of deception and manipulation is the ability to control someone elses actions and judgement by tricking, enrajing or fooling them.

In Julius caeser the most manipulative character would obviously be cassius for he not only planned the assassination of caeser but even got Brutus, the nobelest Roman and closest friend of caeser, involved in the conspiration in a big way. This cassius accomplished by constantly, yet in a very shrewd manner, degrading caeser by telling Brutus that Caeser was nothing more than a weak, sick and ambitious man who cared only for himself and not for Rome and Its people.

Another example of deception and manipulation can be seen in Act:4, scene:1 where Antony, Octavius and Lepidus meet at Antony's house and plan their campaign against the conspirators Anotny sends Lepidus to Caesers house to fetch him caeser's will, after Lepidus's exunt Antony tells Octavius that lepidus was not worthy of holsing power along with them and should be got rid of, when octavius demands a reason for this Antony tells him that Lepidus is nothing but an "ass" who carries all the load or like a "horse" that carries Antony and His belongings around, Antony also mentions that Lepidus is weak and is only fit to be manipulated or used by them and discarded when his services are no longer required.

    I hope that helped u a bit.
