TREBONIUS:
Caesar, I will. And so near will I be
That your best friends shall wish I had been further.
TREBONIUS:
Caesar, I will.

That your best friends shall wish I had been further away.

CAESAR:
Good friends, go in and taste some wine with me,
And we like friends will straightway go together.
CAESAR:
Good friends, go in, and taste some wine with me;
And we, like friends, will go ahead together straightaway.
BRUTUS:
That every like is not the same, O Caesar,(135)
The heart of Brutus yearns to think upon!
BRUTUS:
That every “like” isn’t the same, O Caesar,
That the heart of Brutus yearns to think about!
