    Are you sure your spelling is correct?

    A màs in French is a rustic cottage in southern France built of stone.

    A masse is a large hammer with the iron forged on both sides in such a way that it forms a square.

    As in English (but with an e), masse refers to the sum, total or complete entity of a collection of something or is a reference to the scientific ratio of density of matter.

    The only other word I can think of which you might mean is the French word messe for Mass, meaning of course a Catholic service including Communion.
