School Spirit

School spirit is strong in name only. Lots of people, athletes and non-athletes, wear IWU athletic brand clothing. Lots of people participate in the Homecoming activities. Students here even refer to Illinois State (ISU) as “I Screwed Up,” they're so proud to be at IWU. But not as many students support the actual teams. This isn't evident at the events because the facilities can only accommodate a portion of the student body. Regardless, it'd be nice to know everyone cared as much about the rest of the school.
