    I'm not sure whether you are asking what the main points are of the play as a whole, or whether you are asking what a character in the play believes makes a perfect husband. I believe both questions can be answered together. Lady Chiltern believes that loving a man is the same thing as worshiping him. She thinks the "ideal husband" is a good man who is committed to doing good things for people. She puts her husband on a pedestal and worships him for the good deeds he does. She then discovers that her husband has a secret from his past that shows he is not perfect, and at first, she can't accept this about him. She learns, however, that no one is perfect and finally accepts this in her husband. I hope this answers your question. If not, ask a specific question, and I'll be glad to help you with it.
