Clara has powers where she can move objects with her mind and can also communicate with spirits of the deceased. Also, she is very sensative and in tune with nature and other people. This is what allows her to understand others and create blissful relationships with all who encounter her. She is so sweet, loving and empathic that everyone loves her and wants to be loved by her.
Unlike her husband Esteban, Clara has a strong relationship with all three of the children, Blanca, Jaime, and Nicolas.
When Blanca and Pedro Tercero fall in love as children in Tres Marias, they secretly begin a romance. Clara, being a clairvoyant and seeing things before they happen, already knows of this romance but does not tell her husband, Esteban, because she knows he would only react in an aggressive, violent way. Even when this does happen anyway and Blanca is torn apart from Pedro, if only breifly, Blanca becomes angry with her dad but could always seek refuge with her mother. This is just an example of how well Clara understood her children, and always treated them with love and respect.
Jaime and Nicolas, as well, feel a strong kinship to their mother, who loves them all despite their differences or faults.
