    Baskerville Hall is the ancient family home of the baskerville family, who traditionally are expected to have a 'paternal care' for the local people. The family has been 'dogged' by an ancient curse that has meant they are cursed by a spectral hound. Sir Charles Baskerville reclaims the estate and is noted for his good works, but is murdered by the hound. Then the new heir Sir Henry Baskerville takes over living at the hall. Fot a while Dr Watson stays with him!
