You have a weighted die with the following probability distribution for the outcomes 1 through 6, respectively: 0.12, 0.2, 0.17, 0.19, 0.15, 0.17. What are the expected value and standard deviation for this die?

`sumxp(x)= .12+.4+.51+.76+.75+1.02=3.56`

similarly we can calulate

`sigma^2=sumx^2p(x)-(sumxp(x))^2=15.72-(3.56)^2`

`sigma=1.73`
