I would like to know which material is most suitable for a lighting diffuser: Acrylic or Polycarbonate?

(the shape of this diffuser is like a cube but with just 4 faces). And which process could I apply to make the shape: injection, extrusion, bending...?(cheapest / easiest / best results...)

You should use an acrylic material to make the lighting diffuser. You could use processes like, heating, protrusion, wielding, soldering and many other technical steps to build the product, and the steps that you had included in your question. For the best results, you can try soldering, it is quite simple to use, and it is the cheapest, and easy to maintain, but I cannot guarantee good results, there might be mistakes here and there. Good luck in building your masterpiece.
