To solve, use the inverse property of multiplication, which states that the product of the number and its reciprocal is 1.

So the number that should be multiplied with 5 in order to have a product of 1 is 1/5.

To check, multiply 5 and 1/5.

`5 * 1/5 = 1`

Let the number be x. 

   5x = 1

Therefore x = 1/5
