Will research be helpful for the development of a nation's economy?

The answer to this question is: most definitely. Research is essential for the development of a nation's economy. Let me give you a few examples that will show this point.
First, if a nation takes assessment of their natural resources and tries to find out what they can do with these natural resources, then a nation can profit greatly. For example, if a nation does research on getting these natural resources effectively and quickly, they can increase profits.
Second, all nations should do research on the financial well-being of the international market. This will help an individual country to not only make good investments, but also to shield themselves from any potential dangers.
Third, research will also help in domestic issues. If a nation conducts research to build its own infrastructure, this could create jobs and great profitability.
