Which of the following is false?

A) Temperature, concentration, and surface area affect biochemical reactions.

B) Enzymes affect biochemical reactions by speeding them up.

C) The energy needed for a chemical reaction to occur is called activation energy.

D) Carbon dioxide is the most abundant molecule found within the body.

The question asks which one is false, not which is true.  C is indeed true, but so are A and B.

 

Answer D is false:  Carbon dioxide is not the most abundent molecule in the body.

The activation energy, also called the energy barrier represents the minimum value of the energy for the chemical reaction to happen.

This activation energy can be lowered by a substance which is called catalyst.

Therefore, the correct option is C) The energy needed for a chemical reaction to occur is called activation energy.
