Pip is a character in Great Expectations, by Charles Dickens. It's a great book. You can get it at your local library or barns & nobles.

Great Expectations follows Pip as he goes from being a simple blacksmith's apprentice to a refined, snobbish gentleman, and because he is the main character the best and fullest way to learn about him would be to read the entire novel. That being said, eNotes has a Great Expectations study guide with a few different character analyses that might help you gain some idea of Pip's character.
